Catapults in Ancient Greece and Roman times.

Catapults were a great form of warfare in the past in ancient Greeks and Romans. Without them, many people would have lost battles and not would have not been able to defend themselves”

I strongly agree with this statement a lot as Catapults at the time were a really great predecessor to the modern-day tanks that we use in this time. Catapults themselves were a really good way of destroying great walls everywhere using hard stones or flamed stones to set stuff on fire. Although it was really hard to make and a lot of science were involved it was really effective in wars and battles. Another point is that it was a really good replacement for bows as the amount of force that was given to the catapult is really huge and can really destroy huge walls, cities, and towns as mentioned before. It also gave the opposing side a really big advantage as mentioned before the amount of force that was put in. A downside of a catapult is it was really heavy and it was difficult to move so they just had to drag it. Another disadvantage was if you are in a rush it would be difficult to run with the catapults.
